Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor as well as producer and director. Her name has been acknowledged for films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. The actress won numerous awards, including an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. The successful actress began her career in acting in the theatre with an array of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. In her early years, Helen Keller was her favourite character in a fifth grade production. As a result of having mumps, she went deaf on one side of her ears. However, this didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. In college she studied theatre and later moved from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City in pursuit of her dream. Hunter made her Broadway debut following an accidental conversation and Beth Henley, a playwright. The two worked together for Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The first time she appeared in a film was when she moved to Los Angeles. Her career spans more than thirty years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films or series, as well as films. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and the Women in Film Lucy Award.
